Annie was found wandering around a deer camp in GA, far from any developments or homes. She stayed around for days and finally someone took her home, suspecting she had been dumped. Annie is not a purebred Airedale, but obviously has a lot of ‘dale in her. She is small, only about 45 lbs, so the foster mom thinks she might be mixed with a collie or sheltie. She is a very loving, calm girl, who fit right in with the foster mom’s 9 other dogs and even slept cuddled up with her hairless cat. Annie is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and is heart worm negative! She needs some dental work, but most of all, she needs a warm home and loving attention. She will show her appreciation by being a loyal, loving companion.

(Sorry for the photo. We’ll try to get a better one.)

Do you know how extensive the dental work will be? Could the vet school at NC State do what she needs? Our fence is due to be installed before Thanksgiving.

This is what the woman who is boarding her said about her teeth: “Her teeth are pretty bad, the small molars, making her breath smell awful, but besides that she seems just fine.” I would think the NC Vet School would be a great option, and probably less expensive than a regular vet. Do you have an application in with us, Judy?
