Patton -Adopted
Meet Patton, a 4-year-old female Airedale seeking a new home of her own. Patton’s owner can no longer care for her due to an extended illness. This girl loves people and has been in a boarding facility for way too long. She is a good size girl at 80 pounds, and is vaccinated, and spayed before being adopted. She is crate trained and walks nicely on a leash although she does react to other dogs by barking and lounging (but can be redirected).
Patton is a sweet dog, loves to cuddle, and has never been around children or cats. Since being in long-term boarding she does not tolerate other dogs and she has never been around cats. The boarding facility was initially told that she was dog friendly so maybe this has been intensified by her long-term separation and frustration living in a boarding environment. We would not recommend a home with other dogs at this time.
Patton loves to wrestle, give kisses, and play ball. She lives in a 5x7 accommodation currently and is let into a secured yard 5 times daily. She is friendly with every person she encounters and has never shown aggression toward strangers. She gets grumbly when grooming around her bum and feet and face but has never tried to bite. We must lay her down for her nail trimmings, but she is good about having her nails done. Patton will NOT be placed in a home with children under 12.
Patton is in SC.
