Hattie, 10-y-o Female, ADOPTED 02-21-18

Meet Hattie, who at 10 years old, finds herself in need of a new home. Her mom has gone from part-time to full-time & overtime work, and Hattie is not getting the physical and mental stimulation she requires. She is a healthy 55 pounds, spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and has been on heart worm preventative and flea/tick preventative continuously. She is still very energetic and loves her walks and going for rides in the car. She’s house-broken, crate-trained, leash-trained, and good with kids and most dogs her size. She’ll pick her friends, thank you! She does have some separation anxiety, so she’d probably do best with someone who’s home most of the time. She has a ThunderShirt for those scary thunderstorms or fireworks and it seems to help a lot.
Hattie has gone through basic obedience training and did well in that. She then went through “mind tricks” training, which teaches dogs “to think critically and use their bodies in new ways while still having fun.” She was fine at that and went on to some agility training, which she loved. This sweet Aire-girl has had a lot of fun, stimulating times in her life, and she wants to keep it up.
Can you provide the stimulating home for Hattie? She’ll thank you for it for many years to come!
