Hudson, 7-y-o Male, HW+, adopted 6/2016

Despite living outside all of his life, despite having heart worms, despite never being given the attention he deserves, this boy loves life and is ready to move inside to experience the joys of living in a controlled-climate atmosphere. He’s a loyal, strong, handsome boy with a curly, soft coat. He loves balls and riding in the car. He’s good with kids and loves attention. He is a born protector with a serious bark to discourage intruders.

He is tall and too thin right now at 65 lbs and could probably weigh 15-20 lbs more. He is very smart, but needs to learn house manners and how to walk on leash. He uses a dog door and loves being outside so he can go after prey. No small dogs or cats for him. And, he probably should be the only dog, at least for a while, until he learns that his position is secure and he has a forever home.

He has a lot of love to give and wants someone to give it back.

He’s the taller one on the right in the photo.
