Luna Lovegood is adopted!

Luna now Brandy was adopted last week by Sheryl and her daughter. Brandy joins two other well loved females, Lucy an Airedale and Izzy a beautiful boxer. Brandy is one with the group.

Luna Lovegood was a stray Airedale who needed ARG. She was down on her luck but has received all the vet care she was missing and is on the way to enjoying a full Airedale life. Her foster mom says she is good with small and large dogs and most cats. She likes to be inside and with her people. She is about 50 pounds but eating lots of good food to gain some weight and replace her coat. She has a very distinctive black marking on her nose.

Luna is good at home and in the crate. She is a loving, playful senior dog looking for a sweet spot to call home. She gets very excited when you love on her and will stop by the easy chair for some extra attention but she is not needy just attentive to her humans. She is on medicine to help her back and joints move and an incontinence pill but she does not mess in the house or the crate. She uses a dog door and ramp but is not interested in staying outside in the heat of the day. She is good on a leash and in the car but like any senior needs a ‘leg up’.

Like any senior, she wants to find a person or family who will take her into your heart. She needs some maintenance and help through life but has a sweet disposition and is eager to please.

Luna is estimated between 7-9 years of age. She is about 50 lbs. Do you have lots of love in your heart for this wonderful girl?
