Millie, 18-month Female, NC, Airedale Rescue Group, Adoption Pending

Millie was surrendered because she is just too much for her people.  Millie has a high prey drive and has gone after chickens.  She needs to be brought up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, check for heartworm disease, and placed on preventative.  She already has a new forever home waiting for her with a prior adopter who recently lost an Airedale.

Age 18 months
Gender Female Intact
Weight 60 pounds
Microchip No, but I will be
Heartworm Unknown
History I was bought as a puppy and then left with the parents of the person who got me. I am too much for them and the small dog in the house even though I am sweet as can be.
Crate-Trained Yes, I will use one.
Fence A fenced yard would be preferred
Children I like children but can overwhelm the small ones and knock them down
Cats I will chase the cats.
Other I am housetrained and like to sleep in bed with my people. I do well in the car.  I have a high prey drive so I am not to be trusted with cats, chickens, or small dogs.  I do need a refresher with leash walking and obedience.

While Millie is going to a foster to adopt home with a prior adopter, Airedale Rescue Group never knows when we will have dogs available. If you are interested in adopting a rescued Airedale, please complete the adoption application, Adoption Application – Airedale Rescue Group
